Some Americans are calling for the CIA to be dismantled, calling it America’s “domestic terrorist organization:” since the CIA often engages in terroristic methods, like blowing stuff up, killing democratically-elected leaders and setting up fascist puppets who take bribes without question, and inventing new and wonderful ways to kill, like the poisoned pen, the exploding bowtie, crack cocaine (to send American black youth to prison forever), and undermining everything a ‘democracy’ is supposed to hold dear. There are British people who feel the same about MI5 and MI6 and MI007. If they engage in the same methods as those of the enemies they’re supposed to despise, then are they no better?
