Due to rampant crime most Chicago McDonalds now have a security guard inside the restaurant

The Chicago Police Department has informed the fast food patrons that due to the ongoing rise in crime, they have told all fast food establishments in the Windy City that they want them to hire a security guard, and preferably an off-duty member of the CPD. The incidence of people walking into an eatery, ordering their meal, and then running out without paying for the food has reached epidemic proportions. (Members of the CPD responding to "emergency" calls make up a bulk of the numbers.) One McDonalds located two blocks from Lake Michigan has had their drive-thru robbed four times in just the last 36 hours. One Mickey D's manager has instructed his armed security guard not to bother with pepper spraying or tasing a criminal, and instead the guard has been told to just go ahead and shoot the SOB(s), but not the cops. ■
